Leopard Solutions Announces Women Leaving Law Research Study and Survey
In 2021 Leopard Solutions research found that While nearly 53% of all entry level associates into top 200 law firms were women however only 26% of all large law firm partners were women. Leopard Solutions is partnering with the ARK Group to gathering responses and understand why women traditional get frustrated and leave large law firms.
NEW YORK, March 2, 2022 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Leopard Solutions looks to answer one of the questions came out of their 2021 State of the Industry report concerning the number of women associates who have dropped out of the top 200 law firms and other corporations that we track.
Through our extensive research we have found that while there's no shortage of women entering the legal industry, with more than half of lawyers in law firms being women as they progress in their legal careers, many of them leave their top 200 law firm jobs, don't make partner, grow disillusioned with the industry and leave the practice of law entirely.
So where are these women going, and what's preventing them from reaching partnership?
The pandemic has only exacerbated these issues, as many women have left the legal profession or have thought about leaving due to stress, burnout or childcare issues.
In our latest study, we are seeking to find out why.
We are partnering with ARK to conduct the Leopard Solutions' Women Leaving Law Survey, and we will release the results at the ARK Women in Law Summit on May 25-26 with a presentation by Laura Leopard.
