LOUISVILLE, Ky., Dec. 16, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Les Dames d'Escoffier International is pleased to announce four new recipients of the second round of its Relief Fund grants. The LDEI Relief Fund was created in April 2020 in response to the Covid-19 pandemic to offer assistance to non-profit organizations that provide support to women impacted by disasters, such as the COVID-19 pandemic. Each recipient received $2,500.
Jubilee Women's Center in Seattle WA provides homeless and low-income women with a safe and dignified environment, community housing, educational tools and other services to help women create a sustainable life.
Dog Tag, Inc. in Washington D.C. uses the hospitality industry to teach veterans, military spouses and caregivers how to change lives and make a difference. Dog Tag, Inc. has a bakery that functions as a "real-life business school," helping clients understand the realities of entrepreneurship.
The Nashville Food Project, Inc. in Nashville, TN brings people together to grow, cook and share nourishing food to cultivate community and alleviate hunger. The organization has a Community Meals Program as well as an Urban Agriculture Program to teach people how to grow food through community gardens.
Urban Roots in St. Paul, MN provides paid internships to at-risk youth, helping them develop leadership, entrepreneurial and life skills through its Market Garden, Conservation and Cook Fresh Programs.

The first two LDEI Relief Fund grants of $1000 grants were awarded in October to Made in New Orleans Foundation and Legal Services for Seniors. To be considered, applicants must be established 501(c)3 organizations, NGOs or internationally recognized non-profits for at least three years and meet additional criteria described here.
