MANCHESTER, Conn., Jan. 1, 2021 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- LiveEventStream Automotive ("LESA" or the "Company"), the number-one provider of high definition full-motion automotive inventory video, today announced that it has donated, in aggregate, $5,000 to charities this holiday season as it completes its 9th year in business. Five organizations each received $1,000 from LESA: St. Jude's Children Hospital, the International Rescue Committee, American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, Salvation Army, and Loaves & Fishes, a local Chicago-area food pantry for which Cars.com (NYSE: CARS) provided a matching $1,000 donation. Separately, LESA launched a contest for dealership employees worth an additional $2,500 in prizes and donations – $500 will be given to one winning individual along with $1,000 worth of LESA video products and another $1,000 in donations to a charity of the associated dealership's choice.
"I'm pleased to say that, after such a challenging and tumultuous year, LESA has grown stronger as an organization, won new clients, and is well positioned for growth going forward," said Philip Ly, CEO of LESA. "While the impact of COVID-19 in the spring saw reduced automotive production and inventory, this situation improved as the year went on, with increasing demand for touchless vehicle delivery and video-based purchasing. Through careful planning and execution, we were able to keep our operations running smoothly while working to ensure the health and safety of our employees.
"As we approach the end of 2020, it gives me great pleasure to announce $5,000 in contributions to several noteworthy charities along with our latest video contest. I want to thank our employees and dealerships for their ongoing dedication to our products and services during this period of immense sacrifice and disruption; without you, LESA would not be able to survive, and we remain steadfast in our commitment to supporting our extended family as the industry continues to rebound in 2021."
