Lexington Law Expands Its Successful “Credit in a Minute” Video Series
Salt Lake City, UT (PRWEB) January 20, 2015 -- Lexington Law, the nation’s leading credit repair provider, has expanded its “Credit in a Minute” educational video series for consumers. The series provides quick takes about critical topics, and is hosted by noted consumer advocate Dr. Randy Padawer, whose groundbreaking work in ethical credit repair has been featured by The Motley Fool, Smart Money Magazine, MainSt.com and other consumer focused organizations. The “Credit in a Minute” video series is featured on Lexington Law’s YouTube channel, Facebook page and on other various Lexington social channels.
“At this time of year many consumers are deciding on their 2015 financial goals,” Dr. Padawer said. “We strongly encourage them to take advantage of this easy-to-access, easy-to-digest resource as a way to understand the importance of a healthy, accurate credit report and score as they work to achieve their financial aspirations.”
The first video of the series, which was launched in April 2014, discussed the sometimes-difficult interplay between consumer privacy rights, health issues, and unfair credit reporting. Since that time, 18 topics have been covered including:
• What can creditors report about me?
• How medical bills affect your credit reports.
• What can creditors report about me?
• The REAL purpose of a FICO credit score.
Additional segments will be released every other Tuesday, as part of the company’s weekly “Credit Tip Tuesday” campaign, and will include:
• What does unemployment do to your credit?
• The biggest difference between ethical and unethical credit repair.
• How divorce affects your credit.
“It is so easy to be overwhelmed by the credit reporting ‘machine’ – the multitude of organizations that have a say in your credit score and ultimately your financial future,” Dr. Padawer said. “The feedback we received from consumers tells us that the ‘Credit in a Minute’ video series is an impactful way to provide tips on how to manage one’s credit history and credit future.”
To date, the Credit in a Minute series has reached more than 700,000 consumers.
