The LexisNexis Digital Library, a platform offering one of the largest collections of legal eBook publications, now includes a more personalized home page for individual users, better tools for managing notetaking and offline reading capabilities that are tailored to legal librarians and legal professionals.
The completely rebuilt interface of LexisNexis Digital Library reflects an intense focus on the user experience and is based on many hours of observation and records of users' journeys through real-life legal research workflows. LexisNexis has also incorporated extensive feedback from law librarians into the design and features of the product.
Users signing in to the LexisNexis Digital Library will now see a personalized front-and-center workspace that makes it easy to quickly resume work where they last left off—including links to titles they have used recently and notes they've taken on those titles. Inside the library, users can quickly sort, filter, organize and download any or all of their notes and highlights from all of their eBooks for faster consolidation inside the application. Within an eBook, users can easily color code and highlight passages with embedded citations and add their own notes.
Offline reading in the LexisNexis Digital Library has also been significantly enhanced. The new updates make it possible for users to have rule books, textbooks and practice guides at their fingertips wherever they go, and it's easy to extract components of their research to attach and share via email.
