Liberty IT Solutions, LLC, that specializes in Health Information Technology, has been awarded a $2 million, 12-month task order with four potential option periods to sustain and improve upon the Real Time Location System (RTLS) Maximo Interface. RTLS includes a variety of technologies used for locating and tracking items. The RTLS Maximo task order marks the second win for Liberty under the umbrella of the contracts that include work on the RTLS Systems at the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).

RTLS is a vital part of many VAMCs’ daily operations, and Liberty understands the importance of sustaining and improving upon this valuable system. The technologies that make up the RTLS system allow for greater efficiency and organization in all VA healthcare locations. In addition, they improve patient and employee safety and aide in the reduction of health care asset management costs. The RTLS and Maximo interface suite will allow for real-time inventory updates, equipment detail synchronization, and optimal management of storage space in VA locations.
