Liferay Recognizes 2015 Winners of Annual Liferay Pulse Awards
LOS ANGELES, Calif. (PRWEB) December 22, 2015 -- Liferay, Inc., which makes enterprise-class, open source portals, today announced the winners of the third annual Liferay Pulse Awards. The award winners were chosen from a pool of Liferay’s most novel, inventive and effective use cases. Liferay customers recognized for their solutions include InterContinental Hotels Group, Consolidated Communications, New York University and Banyan Tree. Telx, last year’s selection for Best Collaboration / Social Project created with Liferay Portal, was named the 2015 Website of the Year.

The award winners were revealed at Liferay Symposium North America in Chicago last month. With six categories, including Best Architecture, Best in Design and User Experience, Best Mobile Experience, Best Multiple Platform Integration, Best Collaboration / Social Project, and Website of the Year, the Pulse Awards for customers spanned the wide breadth and scalability of the portal and its implementations. In addition, Community Excellence awards were given to Liferay’s North America partners CIGNEX Datamatics, Savoir-faire Linux and XTIVIA for their achievements and contributions to the Liferay open source community. Individual contributors who have helped expand Liferay’s robust community were also honored at the Symposium in Chicago. At other Liferay events worldwide, Liferay also recognized partners ACA IT-Solutions, Ambientia, Arcusys, EmDev Limited, Permeance Technologies and SMC with Community Excellence awards.
