Liferay Recognizes Winners of Annual Liferay Pulse Awards
LOS ANGELES, Calif. (PRWEB) November 19, 2014 -- Liferay, Inc., which makes enterprise-class, open source portals, today announced the winners of the second annual Liferay Pulse Awards. The award winners were chosen from a worldwide selection of Liferay’s most novel, creative and effective use cases. Customers winning for the first time include The Telx Group, H&R Block, Ogilvy & Mather, VantagePoint by Unisys, and MedImpact Healthcare Systems.

The awards were first revealed at Liferay Symposium North America in Boston on October 6. With five categories, including Best Architecture, Best Design and User Experience, Best Mobile Experience, Best Multiple Platform Integration, and Website of the Year, the Pulse Awards for customers spanned the wide breadth and scalability of the portal and its implementations. The Liferay Pulse Awards also recognized Xtivia, Inc., as Partner of the Year. This marks the third straight year the technology solution provider, a Platinum Partner that has worked with Liferay since 2006, has received the honor. Fellow Platinum Partner Rivet Logic earned the Innovation Award, given to the Liferay partner who implemented the most novel and creative Liferay instances for its customers.
Community awards also recognized individuals for their contributions to the Liferay community as well as partners for their participation in the community.
