About the Author
Lisa T. Garland was born in St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands, where she completed her high school education. She moved to New York City in August 1990 to complete her baccalaureate degree in computer science at Hunter College. Six months later, she accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and savior at a church of God in New York City. After she obtained her degree in June 1994, she started her career in law, then education, and finally in finance, working in her field of study. Unsure of her purpose in life, she was led by God to serve him as a worshipper, intercessor, and now a writer. She is a mother of two gifted and talented musicians in the church she currently attends. She is an inspiration to many and continues to teach her children about the importance of serving and worshipping God. Her prayer is that many souls will surrender their lives to Jesus Christ as God uses her to write and testify of his goodness in her life.
