LISI Partnering with LLS in Light the Night Walks
San Mateo, California (PRWEB) September 24, 2014 -- This fall, LISI, Inc., the premier California General Agency will participate in 6 Light the Night Walk events to be held in each California city in which LISI has a local office.
The Light The Night Walk is a fundraising campaign of the LLS. The funds raised by Light The Night participants will help advance more breakthrough therapies for blood cancer patients.
Each LISI office location has selected a Team Captain who will register and organize coworkers, friends and family who wish to participate in the walk and/or make donations to the LLS. LISI has agreed to match 100%, funds raised by each employee of LISI.
Constance Starkey, Public Affairs and Policy Analyst for LISI said, “LLS is an excellent organization which has done an incredible amount to further cancer research for the past 65 years. LLS has made the fundraising process with the Light the Night walks extremely simple for groups and individuals to participate. The walk events are fun as well as touching and meaningful for everyone who has, is close to or has lost someone to cancer. LISI is looking forward to our involvement in the walks as an excellent team building opportunity and a chance to get involved with our communities as well as the ability to give generously to this important charity. 10/11/2014 – LISI Los Angeles Office Walk – Warner Center Park, Woodland Hills
10/18/2014 – LISI Fresno Office Walk – Chukchansi Park, Fresno
11/1/2014 – LISI Sacramento Office Walk – Raley Field 400 Ballpark Drive, West Sacramento
11/1/2014 – LISI San Mateo Office Walk – City Hall Plaza, 250 Hamilton Ave., Palo Alto
11/7/2014 – LISI San Diego Office Walk – Petco Park, San Diego
