HIGHLAND PARK, Ill., Aug. 13, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Little Steps Pediatric Therapy has announced it will hold two sessions of its Preschool Readiness Program this fall at its Highland Park, Illinois location at 1442 Old Skokie Valley Road. Both sessions will be for children who are 2 to 3 years old and will take place on Fridays from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
The first session will run from September 6 to October 25, and the second session will begin on November 1 and end on December 20. This program – which was developed by and is also led by teachers – focuses on early learning for children who haven't yet reached preschool age.
Pediatric speech and occupational therapists will also be present to guide attendees through hands-on activities in a setting that mimics the actual school experience. Through this unique peer learning environment, the Little Steps team lays the groundwork for academic success and promotes exploration, learning and curiosity. The program helps children meet current elementary school requirements and engages them physically, emotionally, intellectually and socially.
The pediatric therapy provider added Preschool Readiness sessions at its Highland Park location due to the popularity of the program at the company's Glenview clinic, said Jaime Passaglia, founder of Little Steps.
"We're proud to offer this program because we're bridging the gap for kids who need a little bit of extra support as they prepare for preschool," Passaglia said. "Our approach helps them gain confidence as they transition to an actual school setting."
Space in the Preschool Readiness Program is limited, so contact Little Steps to register your child today by calling 847-707-6744 or emailing info(at)littlestepspt.com.
