Power Production Management (PPM) had the opportunity to install a 22.4 Kilowatt (kW) Photovoltaic system that is powered with 70 Sun Power panels and two Fronius Inverters optimized for better performance. Just as B3 focuses on your health by supplying the tailored experience, PPM focused on tailoring a system that would fit the lifestyle the gym promotes. The electricity generated onsite is projected to completely offset the energy use of the facility, thus making it energy independent.

From their start in 2009, "B3 Gym has always prided ourselves on being an eco-friendly gym. We have a recycling program, reverse osmosis purification for our water, and plenty of bike-racks to reduce our carbon footprint." - said CEO and Owner Chris Marhefka.

The solar project will feature a 22.4 Kilowatt (kW) system and is set to produce over 29,000 Kilowatts (kW) a year. Which is enough power over its useful life to remove 109 passenger cars from the road. As well as reducing over 1 million pounds of carbon emissions from being emitted into the atmosphere.
