Local Medical Marijuana Dispensary Celebrates Five Years of Serving Patients
PHOENIX (PRWEB) May 15, 2018 -- The Giving Tree Wellness Center of North Phoenix, one of Arizona’s leading medical marijuana dispensaries, is celebrating their five year anniversary of serving patients Saturday, May 19th. Since opening their operations in May 2013, The Giving Tree has served over 50,000 of the state’s medical marijuana patients.
The Giving Tree Wellness Center has partnered with twelve different medical cannabis vendors to provide patients a day of specials, raffles and giveaways. These partnerships include top brands including Kindred Cannabis, The Clear, Baked Bros, Huxton, Kiva Confections and more. The first 300 patients who visit and make a purchase at The Giving Tree Wellness Center of North Phoenix on May 19th will receive free medicine. Free icecream will also be provided from noon to 2 pm. The event begins Saturday, May 19th at 8 am and will run until 4 pm.
“I launched The Giving Tree in 2013 with the mission to make a difference in the community,” said Lilach Mazor Power, the founder and managing director of The Giving Tree Wellness Center. “Being able to provide patients with a day of discounted medicine is the least we can do to say thank you for all the support we’ve had over the last five years.”
Various cannabis-focused organizations have also jumped on board to support the event. The Marijuana Industry Trade Association, Sun Valley Certification Centers, Phoenix New Times, amongst others, are sponsoring the event through various donations.
