With my experience, professionally and personally, I know we can make a difference for families and individuals in this community. Life is always changing and everyone is busy – we can help. - Susette Stiles-Hofland
RAPID CITY, S.D. (PRWEB) September 11, 2020
After 27 years of working as a physical therapist – mostly with seniors – Susette Stiles-Hofland, DPT is pleased to announce the launch of her new company, Caring Transitions of Rapid City.
Caring Transitions’ specially-trained professionals handle decluttering, organizing, packing, moving, resettling, in-home estate sales and online auctions, home clean-outs, estate clearing and preparing homes for market. Caring Transitions of Rapid City serves Rapid City, Spearfish, Belle Fourche, New Castle, Sundance, Moorcroft and the surrounding areas.
Caring Transitions’ services are perfect for managing the many aspects of a senior move, including assisting with the process of downsizing to provide a safer living situation, as well as for busy families and people clearing out the home of a loved one who has moved into assisted care or passed away. All of Caring Transitions’ services are customizable, so clients choose the solution that best fits their needs.
“Everyone has their own story. We want to learn your story and then create a customized plan to help you meet your goals on your timeline, depending on your needs. Caring Transitions is unique because we can provide a full suite of services and because our entire business is geared toward older adults and families. Our team is compassionate, understanding and efficient,” Stiles-Hofland said.
Stiles-Hofland, who is a Certified Senior Relocation and Transitions Specialist, has worked in the Black Hills since 1996 and her husband is a teacher in Sundance, where her twin girls attend high school. She also has a son who is in college. Stiles-Hofland has her post professional clinical doctorate in physical therapy and is a board certified clinical specialist in geriatric physical therapy. She has been working in healthcare for 27 years, including 20 years in in-home care and 3 years in skilled nursing. In addition to what she’s seen professionally, she understands what people are facing on a personal level too.
“Toward the end of my mom’s life, she moved into an apartment and just closed the door on her previous home and the secondhand store she owned on the property. When she died in 2012, we knew we had to clear out those spaces, but we just couldn’t seem to get there. We had friends who did an estate sale, but that didn’t take care of everything. What we needed was Caring Transitions,” Stiles-Hofland said. “With my experience, professionally and personally, I know we can make a difference for families and individuals in this community. Life is always changing and everyone is busy – we can help.”
