DALLAS, Nov. 27, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Lone Star Analysis, a Dallas-based specialist in leading-edge predictive and prescriptive analytics solutions, is restructuring its leadership team to position Lone Star for continued success. These changes will take place through the end of the year.
"We've enjoyed record growth in 2018. Now we want to ensure we continue to scale as Lone Star expands," said Steve Roemerman, CEO and chairman, Lone Star Analysis. "The changes we are implementing now will position us for continued growth, expanded product lines and more focused execution in 2019."
Matthew Bowers has been named president and chief operating officer. Bowers has served in a number of roles since Lone Star's founding. Most recently, he has been vice president of corporate development. In his new role, Bowers will focus on sales, delivery and execution across all lines of business.
Roemerman will continue as Lone Star's CEO and chairman, roles he's held since Lone Star's establishment in 2004. His focus will be strategy, marketing and continuing to serve in corporate leadership.
Chief Technology Officer John Volpi has announced plans to retire at the end of 2018 and will assume the role of emeritus chief technology officer. Volpi will continue to support Eric Haney, Ph.D. and serve on Lone Star's board of directors.
After taking on the role of deputy chief technology officer earlier this year, Haney will now assume the position chief technology officer. He has also been named vice president. Haney joined Lone Star in 2014. He has made important contributions to the performance and efficiency of Lone Star's software and analytics. He worked closely with Volpi in preparation for succession to the CTO role.
