Lone Star Analysis, a trusted provider of advisory services and internationally recognized for leading-edge predictive and prescriptive analytics solutions, is proud to announce that its CEO, Steve Roemerman, was recently awarded the National Defense Industrial Association’s (NDIA) Kathleen P. Sridhar Small Business Executive of the Year Award.

“It’s a great honor to win an award dedicated to promoting the role of small business owners in the defense industry,” said Steve Roemerman, CEO and Chairman, Lone Star Analysis. “As a small business owner myself, I appreciate the opportunity for us to be seen by the defense community on a national level.”

Roemerman has worked in the defense industry for over 20 years. After getting his start at Texas Instruments, he rose through the ranks serving as an analyst, program manager, business sector leader, vice president and eventually, CEO. His project experience includes work on the first 16-Bit microprocessor, advanced communications satellites, the F-4G Wild Weasel, the joint standoff weapon (JSOW) system and more.

Having been witness to Roemerman’s accomplishments, Victor Fishman, Executive Director at Texas Research Alliance and NDIA board advisor, felt he fit the award’s qualifications perfectly, prompting his nomination.

“Steve has the big and small government and business experience that allows him to see and share opportunities that allow many of us to contribute to getting ‘the job’ done,” said Fishman. “His generosity has been essential in helping the success of many small to mid-sized businesses.”

The Sridhar Award and Medal recognizes leadership and strategic impact in the defense industry’s small business sector. Named after Dr. Kathleen P. Sridhar, this award is bestowed annually to a defense-oriented small business executive who best reflects Sridhar’s leadership, excellence and support of a robust small business sector within the defense industry.
