LOS ANGELES, April 3, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- The Storytellers, the fast-rising Los Angeles folk band, has announced a fourth Friday monthly residency at Bon Vivant Market & Cafe. The esteemed Atwater Village café, owned by renowned restauranteur Tricia La Belle, has been recognized for their eclectic French and California-inspired cuisine and ambiance.
"Bon Vivant is thrilled to have The Storytellers' commitment to perform at Bon Vivant monthly," said Entertainment Manager Kristal Nissalke. "Their soulful, rootsy folk sound and harmonies fit in perfectly with our classy, rustic atmosphere."
The restaurant recently began featuring live music each Friday and Saturday night for their Live Music Weekend. Local bands perform jazz, blues, bossa nova, R&B, bluegrass and world music.
The residency, dubbed "Folky Fourth Fridays" will feature The Storytellers each fourth Friday of the month through the end of the year. Some Fridays will feature guest artists who will sit in with the band. Music begins at 8:00 PM and ends at 11:00 PM.
The Storytellers are the fastest rising Americana and roots band on the LA music scene. They draw from the rich canon of traditional bluegrass, country blues, old time and folk music as a basis for inspired improvisations and intrepid vocal harmonies.
