Love Button Global Movement Presents Fanna Fi-Allah Sufi Qawwali Ensemble Live Musical Performance and Celebration of Poet Rumi, October 2 in Santa Monica

Ticket sales benefit the Love Button Global Movement, a nonprofit organization with a mission to promote love, kindness and compassion. This special event also celebrates the birthday of iconic 13th century Sufi mystic Rumi, the prophet of love, whose poetry continues to influence legions around the world.

Fanna-Fi-Allah's message is simple: Love. There is an ancient wisdom in their music that is not only heard, but profoundly felt. Fanna-Fi-Allah presents the ancient Sufi tradition of Qawwali with powerful devotion, ecstatic rhythms of tabla, and group clapping. Qawwali, a specific type of Sufi music, is a one thousand year old tradition from the mystic Islamic cultures of South Asia, that ceremonially unites people of diverse backgrounds through devotional music.
