Lowers Risk Group Joins the ACFE's Movement to Shine a Spotlight on Fraud During Fraud Week 2020
A special Fraud Week Coffee Break Series will highlight fraud-related stories and insights from Certified Fraud Examiners and forensics professionals at Lowers Risk Group. The series will run daily from November 16-20, 2020.
PURCELLVILLE, Va., Nov. 12, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Fraud costs organizations worldwide an estimated 5 percent of their annual revenues, according to a study conducted by the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE). The global COVID-19 pandemic has worsened the challenge of fraud prevention as organizations report a rise in nearly every type of fraud since the start of the pandemic, according to the ACFE.
The seriousness of the global fraud problem is why Lowers Risk Group announced that it will again be participating in International Fraud Awareness Week, Nov. 15-21, 2020, as an official supporter to promote anti-fraud awareness and education.
