LPL Financial Names Bill Chetney President of LPL Retirement Partners

(NASDAQ: LPLA), today announced that Bill Chetney will become President of LPL Retirement Partners, effective January 1, 2014.
Chetney is currently the executive vice president of LPL Retirement Partners. Previously Chetney served as Founder, CEO, and President of National Retirement Partners (NRP), which offered retirement-related services to thousands of employers nationwide and comprehensive financial services to high-net-worth individuals. LPL acquired certain assets of NRP in 2010 as the basis of its newly created retirement plan-focused division. Since joining LPL, Chetney has solidified the company’s retirement planning strategy and offerings, establishing Retirement Partners as an invaluable resource supporting more than 5,000 participating advisors with exceptional benefits and services. As President of LPL Retirement Partners, he will continue to report directly to Robert Moore, President, LPL Financial Holdings, Inc.

• Developing a Retirement Partners Tool Suite, an operating platform with automated tools and resources for advisors.
