Ludena Protocol Releases Phase One of GameTalkTalk Dapp Through LDN Wallet Integration Update
This app update marks the beginning of their blockchain-powered transition and will expose a new audience of 3 million South Korean gamers to cryptocurrencies through the platform's native utility token, LDN (Ludena Protocol).
SEOUL, South Korea, Jan. 28, 2021 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Ludena Protocol has announced the successful release of phase one of the Dapp version of popular South Korean gaming-centric social app, GameTalkTalk.
This app update marks the beginning of their blockchain-powered transition and will expose a new audience of South Korean gamers to cryptocurrencies through the platform's native utility token, LDN (Ludena Protocol). In the new version of GameTalkTalk, users will be able to connect their GameTalkTalk wallet accounts to the, now, embedded platform wallet.
GameTalkTalk is a social media platform dedicated to gaming and rewards its 3 million users for their gaming-related activities. These activities include, but are not limited to, posting game strategies and tips, completing in-game missions from some of the world's biggest game publishers, and simply playing platform mini-games. For the past 8 years this user base has been receiving and redeeming digital assets, in the form of stars, in exchange for tangible and digital goods.
To solidify the app to dapp transition, Ludena Protocol announced that they will be changing this reward asset from stars to the Ludena Protocol token (LDN) in order to provide their users with added reward use cases. The company announced that this foundational transition would take place in stages in order to avoid some stigmatic confusion that has, in the past, arisen from companies making fundamental changes in favour of blockchain technology.
Ludena Protocol's CEO, Joshua Kim, said: "Before our implementation of platform smart contracts, we wanted to introduce the gamers on our platform to our cryptocurrency wallet and familiarize themselves with how it works, particularly with how simple it is to use. We are looking forward to transitioning from our star-reward program to an LDN token-reward program in the next coming weeks."
The company went on to further say that they plan to update all rewards-based activities, such as daily login bonuses, content engagement and content consumption, to the LDN token within the next few weeks and are confident that they have given users the preparedness to perceive this enticing update with a positive outlook.
