The Alexan Park 82nd Apartments were designed by MSA Design, a Florida and Ohio-based company specializing in architecture, interior design, and graphic design. The $35 million development spans 11 acres and includes 356 luxurious units, including one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments ranging from 780-1,400 ft2. Residents of the complex enjoy a range of amenities, including a fitness center, outdoor saltwater pool, co-working spaces, gaming lounge, pet spa, DIY creative lab, electric car charging stations, and a mail center with Amazon parcel lockers.
Due to the high groundwater levels prevalent in southern Florida, MSA Design was looking for a reliable waterproofing solution for the below-grade concrete elevator pits. After consulting with Ozinga, the ready-mix concrete supplier for the project, PENETRON ADMIX SB was selected as the preferred concrete waterproofing solution.
