Luxury Aircraft Solutions Providing Plane Charter for Television Show
NEW YORK (PRWEB) September 29, 2014 -- Luxury Aircraft Solutions, Inc. has announced that they will be providing air transportation in a new episode of “Chasing Classic Cars,” airing nationwide on Tuesday, September 30th, 2014, which will assist the show’s host in his next pursuit for the perfect vintage vehicle.
The documentary invites viewers to follow presenter and classic car enthusiast Wayne Carini, as he locates, purchases, and restores classic automobiles. Carini will often bring the vehicles to auction after he restores them to pristine condition. In the upcoming episode, Carini’s quest for an original 1941 Ford Woody with low mileage takes him hundreds of miles from home. Because he needed a time-efficient and convenient way to travel from Connecticut to Virginia, Carini and the rest of the “Chasing Classic Cars” crew chartered a plane through Luxury Aircraft Solutions.
“Wayne has a very demanding schedule and has to balance running his businesses while filming a hit television show,” said Daniel Hirschhorn, Managing Director of Luxury Aircraft Solutions. “Direct commercial airline options [for this route] were non-existent.”
The aircraft that will be featured in the episode, a Piper PA-31 Navajo Chieftain, was selected specifically for Carini and his crew because of their trip length, in addition to the plane’s safety record and cost efficiency. The twin-engine aircraft includes spacious seating for six, a leather interior, and plenty of additional space for baggage and equipment.
Since 2008, half-hour episodes of “Chasing Classic Cars” have premiered every Tuesday evening at 10 p.m. on Velocity by Discovery. The show, which is part of Essex Television Group, Inc., was created by Jim Astrausky. In the newest episode, viewers will be able to get a glimpse of what it’s like to travel in one of the private planes that are available for charter in the plane broker’s expansive fleet.
For this particular endeavor, Luxury Aircraft Solutions provided air transportation for both travel and filming purposes. But the charter jet company has other similar projects in the works, some of which are strictly for production purposes. The chartered planes are often used as unique backdrops for photo shoots or for movie sets, some of which don’t involve any air travel at all.
