On Pi Day, teams from the Apple Barrel — for the third consecutive year — will deliver freshly-baked pies to the police and fire departments of Durham, Middlefield, Middletown, Meriden, and Wallingford.
According to John Lyman, Executive Vice President and eighth generation family member: "We are proud to pay tribute to the first responders in our communities by delivering pies to their stations.
