MultiTech Extends Sponsorship of AT&T Developer Program
Las Vegas, Nevada (PRWEB) September 09, 2014 -- MultiTech Systems, a global provider of machine-to-machine (M2M) communication technology platforms for Internet of Things (IoT) applications, announces its continued sponsorship of the AT&T Developer Program by committing hardware, technical, and executive resources for the AT&T Hackathon @ Super Mobility Week and AT&T DevLab. Both developer events take place in Las Vegas, Nevada the weekend of September 6-7, 2014 in the Chelsea Theater at The Cosmopolitan hotel in conjunction with Super Mobility Week sponsored by CTIA.

MultiTech, as a member of Team mbed, is proud to be a hardware sponsor of the AT&T Hackathon, taking place in the Chelsea Theater at The Cosmopolitan hotel September 6th and 7th. To support innovation on the company’s hardware platform, MultiTech will staff Station 26 at the event with technical experts to serve as a resource to developers throughout the weekend. Further, MultiTech executive David Smith, Vice President of Advanced Programs and Innovation, will serve on the judging panel which will award $100,000 in cash and prizes to winning developers, including a $5,000 Best Use of mbed Award. Executive and technical resources will also be on hand to host an interactive session for developers using Team mbed technologies from 2:00 – 3:00 PM on September 6th. Daniel Quant, Vice President of Product Development and Strategic Marketing, will present to participants at the AT&T DevLab on September 7th, co-located in Las Vegas.

In addition to these upcoming events, MultiTech Systems has supported the AT&T Developer Program throughout 2014 by providing hardware and technical resources for the AT&T Hackathon held in conjunction with the CES show in January; executive resources for the judging panel of the AT&T Fast Pitch event held in conjunction with the M2M Evolution show in August, hardware for development in the AT&T M2M DevLab events held in Plano, TX in July and San Francisco, CA in August.
