MAC Group Opens in Canada: Company Continues Plans for International Growth
NORTH WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. (PRWEB) September 25, 2018 -- MAC Group is pleased to announce the expansion of its distribution network into the Canadian marketplace with the formation of MAC Group Canada.
With world class brands focused on still photography and tools for filmmakers, the move into the Canadian market was a logical fit with the company’s aggressive plans for international growth.
The announcement follows an agreement between MAC Group and Gnigami Ltd. under which MAC Group Canada has acquired certain assets and distribution rights. In addition to MAC Group’s company owned brands Shimoda, Tenba and Induro, the Canadian organization will also distribute Benro, MeFoto, Elinchrom, Kupo, Saramonic, and NanGuang brands within the Canadian marketplace.
The new MAC Group Canada office and distribution facility will be managed by the newly appointed President of MAC Group Canada, John Dortona. With over 25 years of experience, and a wealth of business relationships and industry knowledge, John is an ideal fit with MAC Group and will be working closely with the US and EU teams.
MAC Group Canada is expected to begin operations at the beginning of November. More details are to be announced closer to the date. In the meantime, the brands will continue to be marketed and fulfilled by their current distributors.
