MacStadium Achieves ISO 27001 Certification
ATLANTA (PRWEB) April 24, 2018 -- MacStadium, Inc., the leading provider of enterprise-class hosting solutions for Apple Mac infrastructure, today announced that the company has achieved International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 27001 certification. The internationally-recognized security certification includes the assets, technologies and processes employed by MacStadium within its facilities for the development, operation, administration and delivery of the MacStadium infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) to its customers.
The ISO/IEC 27001:2013 certification was earned following an external audit of MacStadium’s information security policies and practices, performed by Coalfire ISO, Inc., a certification body accredited by the ANSI-ASQ National Accreditation Board (ANAB). In order to meet the ISO standard, a company must display that it exercises best practices, deploys effective security controls, and maintains resilient processes required for a robust Information Security Management System protecting sensitive information. With this certification, MacStadium is recognized to fully conform with the ISO 27001 security standard and has established a formal program to maintain the certification in future years.
