With a heart to use his talents to help those in dire need, Magician Zak Mirzadeh has put his skills and efforts behind designing a unique deck of cards that spreads awareness of human trafficking, how to spot the signs and will raise funds for a US Charity.

On August 1, the new card deck was put on sale exclusively at with the goal to raise $7,500 in 31 days by selling card decks and unique rewards to people wanting to fund the project. In just 11 days, it met its goal as backers were impressed with the design and excited to fund a project that will be helping to fight human trafficking.

Hailing from Texas, the state with the second highest rate of trafficking in the US according to the National Human Trafficking Hotline, Zak has seen firsthand the impact of trafficking on a community and is adding his voice to the fight through a first of it’s kind partnership.

Teaming up with the non-profit Hope for Justice, Inc., Zak has created a deck of cards that merges the fantasy world of magic with the reality of human trafficking. Hope for Justice fights human trafficking in over 20 locations across the globe, including their US headquarters in Nashville, TN. In the last year, Hope for Justice directly rescued 2,020 victims, looked after over 70,000 children through their different programs and were able to get 1,014 children safely home.

To protect the identity of their victims, often because their traffickers are still looking for them, Hope for Justice always blurs out the faces of the men, women and children they rescue. To honor those victims, the deck has been designed with the faces of the Queens blurred out. Also included: two jokers which merge one of Zak’s tricks with the Hope for Justice logo and a “Spot the signs of trafficking” card with the Hope for Justice hotline number to report suspected cases.

The deck is currently for sale exclusively on Kickstarter for a limited time. Visit to purchase a deck or receive a number of innovative rewards for backing it.
