With this update, merchants will be able to leverage MagTek's payment application certification (L3) with leading processors for EMV system compliance and continue to use QwickPAY for magstripe payment acceptance.
Obtaining L3 certification to support EMV transactions can be cost prohibitive for merchants and ISVs. MagTek has undertaken the effort and cost with QwickPAY and supports an array of leading processors. MagTek's is EMV certified with First Data Merchant Services (FDC) Nashville/North, TSYS, and Worldpay with Chase and Elavon certification on the horizon for late 2018.
