MaintenX employees donate more than 700 back to school items as the fall school season approaches.
TAMPA, Fla., July 12, 2022 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- MaintenX has partnered with Metropolitan Ministries for the fourth consecutive year on their "Backpacks of Hope" school supply drive. MaintenX employees once again stepped up and embraced the "MaintenX Gives" tradition by responding with their highest-ever contribution.
From May 25 to June 29, the team brought in 25 backpacks and donated over 700 school supplies, including a $600 contribution of supplies by MaintenX.
"The back-to-school season can be a challenging time of year for families, and MaintenX is pleased to help lift that burden in our community by being part of the Backpacks of Hope drive," said Bill Schaphorst, MaintenX's VP of Business Development.
With MaintenX and other community partners, Metropolitan Ministries provides backpacks, uniforms, and school supplies to more than 250 children in their care, as well as more than 2,200 other Tampa Bay students.
