MaintenX Regional Service Coordinator Jessica Suazo was accepted into Habitat for Humanity home program; MaintenX will also sponsor her home.
TAMPA, Fla., Dec. 28, 2021 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- MaintenX International made an exciting announcement at their recent holiday party: team member Jessica Suazo was accepted into the Habitat for Humanity of Pinellas & West Pasco home program, and MaintenX will sponsor and help build her Forever Home. Suazo, a Regional Service Coordinator for the Southeast Service Team, got the news of her acceptance into the program at MaintenX's Tampa headquarters back in July, but was thrilled to find out she was on track to begin building her home in the Spring of 2022 with help from her MaintenX team!
Mother to a 12-year-old daughter, Suazo has had a precarious living situation for some time. High rents drove her to undesirable locations, and her current apartment has experienced myriad problems including mold, structural damage, and broken appliances.
"MaintenX is a great employer, but this sponsorship goes above and beyond. It means so much to know they're looking out for me," said Suazo. "I'm looking forward to turning the house into a real home where my daughter and I can feel peaceful and safe."
The Suazo home will be MaintenX's sixth home sponsorship in their ongoing four-year partnership with Habitat for Humanity of Pinellas & West Pasco.
"Jessica is a valued team member here, and we were so pleased to learn of her acceptance into the Habitat program and that we were able to sponsor the home build," said MaintenX VP of Business Development Bill Schaphorst. "We love helping our community, but knowing this home is being built for Jessica makes this house very special for MaintenX."
Senior Service Director Herman Wilkinson, Suazo's team lead, added: "We are fortunate to have Jessica on our Service Team and she adds so much value to our work, technicians and clients. Our bond with Jessica will now become even closer thanks to Habitat for Humanity!"
The Suazo home will be constructed in 2022 with the volunteer assistance of other MaintenX team members.
