MAK Technologies (MAK), a company of ST Engineering North America, today announced the successful completion of Phase 1 of the Amphibious Combat Vehicle (ACV) Crew Gunnery Trainer (CGT) program for the United States Marine Corps, including successful completion of the Final User Evaluation (FUE) and delivery of the trainer prototype.
ORLANDO, Fla., Sept. 30, 2026 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- MAK Technologies (MAK), a company of ST Engineering North America, today announced the successful completion of Phase 1 of the Amphibious Combat Vehicle (ACV) Crew Gunnery Trainer (CGT) program for the United States Marine Corps, including successful completion of the Final User Evaluation (FUE) and delivery of the trainer prototype. Building on this achievement, MAK has also been awarded Phase 2 of the program, which will further expand and mature the training capability in support of Marine Corps readiness.
Developed and delivered in just six months, the ACV CGT prototype provides a safe, repeatable environment for Marines to develop crew coordination and gunnery skills before live-fire training. The system includes dedicated Driver, Gunner, Commander, and Instructor/Operator Stations, enabling complete crew training, performance assessment, and after-action review capabilities. Throughout development, Marines provided direct feedback during a series of user evaluations that helped refine the system and contributed to the successful completion of Phase 1.
The Phase 2 award reflects the success of the initial prototype effort and will continue the partnership between MAK and the Marine Corps to enhance and evolve the ACV CGT based on operational requirements and user feedback.
