The 2026 release makes it faster and easier to build complex, realistic training scenarios in MAK ONE's immersive and operationally relevant simulation platform
CAMBRIDGE, Mass., Oct. 27, 2026 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- MAK Technologies (MAK), a company of ST Engineering North America, today announced the launch of MAK ONE 2026, the latest version of its flagship synthetic environment platform. The release expands the range of missions and domains that the MAK ONE platform can represent, sharpens realism and immersion across the synthetic environment, and makes it easier to build and manage complex simulation behaviors.
MAK ONE 2026 includes:
More content, behaviors, and functionality, expanding mission coverage. MAK ONE 2026 broadens the range of missions that can be represented and trained across land, maritime, ISR, and unmanned operations. New capabilities for drone operations, autonomous systems, sensor-driven workflows, logistics modeling, ground combat, and littoral environments enable organizations to build richer multi-domain scenarios within the MAK ONE common synthetic environment.
Increased realism and immersion, sharpening operational relevance. MAK ONE 2026 enhances realism across the synthetic environment with improvements to visual fidelity, sensor modeling, audio, radio communications, terrain representation, and environmental effects. Together, these capabilities help users create training experiences that more closely reflect operational conditions.
Faster complex behavior development, scaling scenario development. The Behavior Engine Script Editor (BESE) is a new visual environment for building, understanding, and managing complex simulation behaviors. As training scenarios and behavior scripts grow more sophisticated, BESE helps users accelerate development and scale behavior creation with less effort.
MAK ONE 2026 also delivers continued interoperability, scalability, and performance improvements, reinforcing the flexible foundation trusted by defense, training, and experimentation programs worldwide for more than 30 years.
MAK ONE 2026 continues to power an open system, open standard, and open API synthetic environment platform, enabling users to link, simulate, and visualize their world in any scenario. It includes the latest versions of:
- VR-Forces 5.3 – Computer generated forces
- VR-Engage 3.3 – Multi-role virtual simulator
- VR-Vantage 3.3 – 3D simulation visualization application
- RFView® for MAK ONE 1.2 – SAR simulation
- VR-Link 5.11 – HLA-DIS simulation networking
- DI-Guy 13.9 – Human character visualization
"MAK ONE is already a mature platform that our customers rely on every day. The 2026 release adds depth and breadth to the platform across visuals, content, and functionality, while preserving the openness and interoperability that our customers expect," said Jim Kogler, VP of Products at MAK. "I'm looking forward to seeing how these capabilities are put to work across training and experimentation programs around the world."
