It was attended by more than 400 people, including former owners and their families, current and past employees, local restauranteurs, media members, and friends.
New Hampshire Governor Christopher Sununu issued a proclamation naming October 15, 2022, "Red Arrow Diner Day" in the State of New Hampshire.
The event featured remarks and commendations by Manchester Mayor Joyce Craig, New Hampshire State Senators Donna Soucy and Kevin Cavanaugh, and New Hampshire Congressman Chris Pappas. Other speakers included current Red Arrow Diner owners Carol Lawrence and Amanda Wihby; John Clayton, local historian, and journalist; and family members of former diner owners, Ray Lamontagne, son of founder David Lamontagne, and Susan Letendre, granddaughter of Levi Letendre.
The diner's section of 61 Lowell Street – from Kosciuszko to Chestnut Streets – was closed to traffic, and the Red Arrow Diner locations in Concord, Londonderry, and Manchester were closed until 4 pm so employees could attend. The celebration featured popular diner dishes, activities for kids and families, raffle prizes and games, music, and on-site FrankFM radio broadcasting with Morning Show DJs Nazzy and Marissa.
Throughout the year, the Red Arrow Diner has been celebrating its establishment in 1922 with Diner Dish of the Decade promotions, recognizing 100 local businesses on its Facebook page, and sharing memories about its own history – and Manchester's – on social media. This event served as the grand finale of its anniversary festivities.
