Manhattan March Music & Film Festival 'Craic Fest' Gets Oscar Lineup for New York
March 2nd-9th, 2019 'Craic Fest' hosts 1 play, 2 Singers, 3 Film Premiers and 4 After Parties with comped drinks over one week. The festival event which showcases the best of modern Irish-American culture takes place across Mercury Lounge, Bar 13 and Fitzpatrick Hotel, New York, NY.
NEW YORK, Feb. 27, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- The 21st annual Craic Fest (Est. 1998) which will also features Oscar Winner Glen Hansard's new film CAMINO VOYAGE opens this Saturday, March 2nd. Opening night kicks-off with music & arts from LOAH, JULIE FEENY and one-man play 'Ireland's Call' by David O' Connor at Mercury Lounge. Attracting music and films fans from all over the city.

The festival rolls on for 3 more nights from March Thurs 7th, 8th and 9th offering a Film Premier with DJ Afterparty format, with comped drinks from Stella Artois & Powers Whiskey, also hosts headline cast members for Q&A on both Thurs 7th and 9th nights. 'Dublin Old School' - March 7th - tells the story of Jason,a wannabe DJ (Emmet Kirwan), somewhere between the DJs, decks, and drug busts he stumbles across a familiar face from the past, his brother Daniel. Daniel, an educated heroin addict, is living on the streets.
'Camino Voyage' - March 8th is award winning documentary Camino Voyage starring Oscar winner Glen Hansard.
March 9th closing film gala is 'Emerald City' directed by Colin Broderick and starring local Irish actor John Duddy. Cast and crew to attend closing film.
