WINTER PARK, Fla., Dec. 6, 2022 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- This holiday season, Marc-Michaels Interior Design is honored to give back to the community by participating in the Silvia Project. Headed up by RWB Construction Management, the Silvia Project will provide desperately needed housing for foster children in the community.
Robert Burrage, owner of RWB Construction Management, first met Silvia through the organization Place of Hope. Place of Hope's mission is to provide a stable and loving environment for children, youth and families who are hurting. Though a single parent herself, Silvia felt the call to become a foster parent with the organization. After an inspection of her home deemed it no longer safe for living, Robert and his team were inspired to help – by demoing the old home and building a new, fully furnished one in its place.
Construction on the Silvia Project began with the collaboration of subcontractors all donating their time and materials. Marc-Michaels Interior Design will contribute design services and furnishings to the project. "It is an honor to be able to serve the community and help this family get back on their feet," says Mark Tremblay, President of Marc-Michaels Interior Design.
At the heart of the Silvia Project is the desire to embody the spirit of giving. Silvia and her family will soon have a forever home to celebrate all the holidays to come. "We're so tremendously blessed as a business, what I consider the RWB family, that we can look at the community and say this is what we're going to give back," says Burrage. "It's more than what we put in our wallets. It's how we change people's lives."
