NEW YORK, Oct. 25, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Marc Lubaszka, former investment advisor and private investor in Sao Paulo, is teaming up with a group of international investors. The group intends to open a fund according to Barron's, a leading source of financial and investment news, as reported on Friday.
Lubaszka and company are creating a financial management company based in New York. The name of the fund is Emerging Market Technology. It will focus on emerging markets and advances in Virtual, Augmented and Mixed Reality.
The fund is expected to allocate more than 1 billion to companies ranging from startups to companies that have reached commercialization. Energy, natural gas, and mining companies are those that stand to benefit the most.
A partner at the fund commented saying, "we are all very excited about the possibilities emerging and advanced technology can offer."
Lubaszka and company are looking to begin purchasing shares of existing high performing public companies in January of 2019.
