Mareesa Torres graduated from Central Connecticut State University in 2002 with a Bachelor of Science in Criminology/Criminal Justice and a concentration in Writing. In 2005, Ms. Torres received her Juris Doctor from Quinnipiac University School of Law where she received High Honors for her work in the Civil Clinic. She also received several awards for her work, including the Dean’s Award for Superior Classroom Performance, the Service to the Law School Award and the Thurgood Marshall Award. Ms. Torres was also the recipient of the Connecticut Hispanic Bar Association’s Scholarship for Community Service.
