KNOXVILLE, Tenn., Feb. 24, 2021 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Thomas-Hendrickson Inc. (THinc Partners), a leading management consulting firm specializing in automated retail, today announced the addition of Maria Mullen as strategic advisor. Mullen's extensive industry experience in brick-and-mortar retail, automated retail and consumer packaged goods further strengthens THinc Partners collective skill set.
"We are delighted to add someone of Maria's caliber to our team," said Arne Hendrickson, managing partner of THinc Partners. "Maria is a seasoned executive with functional lead experience, which gives her a unique customer-centric, cross-functional perspective. Her background also includes work with recognized automated retail brands that will prove valuable as we help our clients build and refine business strategies and gain traction for their kiosk concepts."
Mullen's 30-plus years' experience spans industries and roles resulting in broad capabilities with a deep understanding of the retail environment, distribution, sales strategies, and the customer journey. Most recently, Mullen served as vice president of exchange operations and customer experience for Primo Water. Here, she led the $65 million dispenser business and directly managed the marketing, product, and customer service teams. During her first two years at Primo Water, she held the vice president of retail strategy role. Prior to that, Mullen served as vice president of strategic sales capabilities at Outerwall (owner of Redbox, Coinstar and ecoATM). She led the sales capabilities team where she introduced sales planning, launched an analytics function to support fact-based selling, and created a category management platform to secure key retail partners. Earlier in her career, Mullen held leadership positions at Dannon Company (Walmart team), Electronic Arts, ConAgra, Clorox, and Hershey.
"The automated retail industry continues to grow, and we'll see more and different front-end services at retail stores in the coming years," said Mullen. "I'm excited about working with THinc Partners clients – all sizes and stages of development – to help them design the right strategy to achieve their vision."
The global interactive kiosk market size is expected to reach $45.32 billion by 2028, according to a new study conducted by Grand View Research. This represents a compound annual growth rate of 6.9% from 2021 to 2028.
