The $20 million investment will help accomplish domestic and global expansion plans, including the franchising of the brand’s Nail Lounges and Glamour Rooms. Marilyn Monroe™ Nail Lounges focus on nails (manicures, pedicures, gels) and waxing treatments (body and face). Marilyn Monroe™ Glamour Rooms offer a variety of “glamour” services for nails (manicures, pedicures, gels), face (facials and makeup applications), hair services (blow outs, cuts and color), and body treatments (massage and waxing services). Both concepts are presented with a modern and open aesthetic that is perfect for private treatments or larger group events.

The investment will also fund the creation of the Marilyn Monroe™ Spa and Glamour Institute, a first-of-its-kind concept that will provide technical and business education for those wishing to be part of the salon, spa and beauty industry.
Along with its spa services, the brand sells more than 300 branded retail and spa products in each location and through its e-commerce website, including Natrue certificated organic skincare, vegan & “three-free” (free of the three known toxic ingredients in many nail polishes: Toluene, Dibutyl Phthalate and Formaldehyde) nail polish, makeup and hair care.
Led by spa industry veteran Niki T. Kearn (formerly Bryan), Founder and Board Member, and former Disney executive Allen “Al” R. Weiss, Marilyn Monroe™ Spas was granted an exclusive licensing agreement in 2012 with Authentic Brands Group, a leading international intellectual property corporation that owns the estate of Marilyn Monroe, to operate in the spa, salon, nail and health and wellness categories using the Marilyn Monroe name.
