Marina Martial Arts Celebrates its 45th Year in Business and Receives Two Commendations from the City of Culver City
The City of Culver City presented Marina Martial Arts with a 45th Anniversary Commendation at City Hall on July 8, 2019 and a Sustainable Business Certification on March 21, 2019.
CULVER CITY, Calif., Sept. 4, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Marina Martial Arts recently celebrated its 45th year in business, firmly establishing it as a premier provider of Martial Arts Instruction.
To honor the family-owned institution, the City of Culver City presented Marina Martial Arts with a 45th Anniversary Commendation at City Hall on July 8, 2019.
Additionally, Marina Martial Arts received a Culver City Sustainable Business Certification, which recognizes Culver City businesses that are dedicated to waste reduction, energy efficiency, water efficiency, pollution prevention, sustainable procurement, transportation management, employee well-being, and community engagement.
Marina Martial Arts is owned and run by husband and wife team, Keith and Debbie Jones. Head Instructor, Debbie Jones, is a World Tae Kwon Do Certified Black Belt and medal award winning competitor who has been training and teaching in the martial arts for almost 30 years. She has an animated and energetic style which makes her a popular instructor no matter what the age of the students. In addition to Tae Kwon Do, Debbie is also certified in Haganah (Israeli Krav Maga).
Debbie and Marina Martial Arts teach cutting-edge martial arts with an emphasis on life and leadership skills and classes including pre-school Lil' Dragon, youth, teen and adult martial arts training, and fitness kickboxing.
