SmartAlerts, which use advanced machine learning data models, build upon the existing platform capabilities allowing operators to lower maintenance costs, optimize usage patterns, and increase uptime -- there-by saving both time and money.
The ioCurrents MarineInsight analytics platform gathers, analyzes, and transmits vessel equipment data in real time to help on-board and shoreside operators make more informed decisions. Using advanced data analytics, analysis tools, and predictive alerts, MarineInsight helps operators reduce maintenance costs, increase fuel efficiency, and minimize downtime. In addition, the ioCurrrents analytics platform provides other benefits such as cargo protection and insurance premium reductions. The MarineInsight analytics platform consists of two main components -- the DataHub, an onboard mini-computer that collects and analyzes data locally, and a remote analytics cloud platform. Data is uploaded via WiFi, cellular, or Satellite. The local DataHub and the remote cloud platform both analyze vessel data, making it possible for onboard operators and shoreside personnel to take advantage of the platform's data analytics in real time. The system can collect data from engines, generators, Z-drives, transmissions, fuel and water tanks, winches, and PLCs, or custom sensors for parameters like temperature or vibration.
