MEADVILLE, Pa., Nov. 6, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- "Trapped in the Tower": a wonderful tale of patience and gentleness that includes nine kids, nine gifts, and nine blessings. "Trapped in the Tower" is the creation of published author Mary I. Schmal, a teacher who holds a bachelor's and master's degree in education. She desires to motivate her students to realize their God-given potential in becoming the unique children of God that He created them to be.
Schmal shares, "Luke and Garrett befriend Three Leaning Trees, the son of Chief Black Stone of the Nektosha Indian settlement. One evening, the adventurous three boys encounter something sinister in the dark woods. Their adventure continues the next day inside a soaring tower on the banks of Cobblestone Island. While climbing the tower's winding stairs, they are surprised by a bat flying through a broken window and a snake-like form trailing away from a trap door. At the top of the tower, the boys make an important discovery. After their climb back down, they are met with even more surprises!
"A mysterious sighting on the lake, disappearing objects, a curious chocolate-making machine, and a dangerous shipwreck all add to the adventures. Three Leaning Trees shows Luke and Garrett his father's peace pipe. On Thanksgiving Day in 1884, the boys attend a dimly-lit ceremony inside a Nektosha wigwam. The peace pipe becomes a central object in teaching Luke to be more patient. As he understands that patience is a Fruit of the Spirit, Luke recognizes that Garrett's gentleness is also a gift from God meant for all 'Children of the Light.'"
Published by Christian Faith Publishing, Mary I. Schmal's new book is a lovely book that provides a tale of discovery in the lives and adventures of young brave souls that will surely engage the readers, young and old alike, to embrace the free gifts known as the Fruit of the Spirit.
