Counseling and Training available online through Phase 3. Mason SBDC will continue support to city-wide businesses without disruption through virtual appointments and schedules.

The Mason Small Business Development Center (Mason SBDC) headquartered in Fairfax City, announces continuation of no-cost business counseling and training services to the small business community in the City of Manassas and Manassas Park. The organization will continue support to city-wide businesses without disruption through virtual appointments and schedules.

The program as part of a collaborative agreement with the City of Manassas Economic Development Authority expanded its services to downtown Manassas in January of 2019. George Siragusa, Mason SBDC Senior Counselor and the lead representative of the program at the Manassas city location previously provided face-to face counseling services at the co-working space, Centerfuse by appointment only. With the ongoing challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, the program invites businesses who have been working with Siragusa and those intending to start a business within the city, to reach out to the program to continue virtual counseling.

The Mason Small Business Development Center has been providing business counseling and training services at no cost to entrepreneurs, for over 30 years. The program serves counties of Fairfax, Arlington, and Prince William, in addition to City of Fairfax, City of Manassas and Richmond. The organization is supported and sponsored by the Small Business Administration, George Mason University, the Virginia Small Business Development Center, City of Manassas Economic Development Authority and the Prince William County Department of Economic Development.
