The MV Multi-Trap® Vacuum Inlet Trap for plastic extruders features all 304 stainless steel construction with a full first stage knockdown baffle, a second stage of stainless steel gauze filters, and a bottom cooling option.
Proven to extend vacuum pump life by over 12 times, they protect vacuum pumps on extruders from failures due to volatile extrusion byproducts.
Offered in 10", 12", and 16" dia. models for pump capacities over 2,000 CFM, the MV Multi-Trap® Vacuum Inlet Trap is available with 1.5" to 6.0" port sizes with options such as drains and float switches for the automatic disposal of volatile compounds. In addition to stainless steel gauze filters, others include activated alumina, charcoal, and Sodasorb®.
