In October, Eagle Gate unveiled a new program for the Murray campus: The Master's Entry Program in Nursing (MEPN). This degree program will provide graduates with a coveted degree in the healthcare industry.
Aspiring nurses can take their education to the next level with the MEPN program. In as little as 22 months, graduates receive a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree. Career changers without a nursing background can enroll in this advanced program and prepare for licensure. While a master's degree isn't a requirement for registered nurses (RNs), MSN-trained nurses typically have greater salaries, job opportunities, and leadership positions. A master's degree is also required for most nurse educators and managers.
