Masy BioServices continues to support the biopharma and pharmaceutical industries with the expansion of its biopharma storage space in Massachusetts. Masy has acquired 38,000 square feet of space in Shirley, Massachusetts for pallet storage with the capacity to house over 3,000 pallets in 15°C to 30°C temperatures. The facility is projected to be open and ready for shipments in early 2021.

“This expansion of our biopharma storage facilities is the latest step of our strategic plan for growth,” said Steve Lane, CEO, Masy BioServices. “The COVID-19 pandemic has challenged the supply chains of many of our customers and created the need for additional storage at many temperature conditions. This new space is engineered to meet cGMP requirements for environmental controls, security and cleanliness, and include the numerous facility redundancies Masy BioServices has perfected over many years.”

The expansion is the latest step in Masy’s plan for growth. In 2019, Masy BioServices acquired 84,000 square feet of space in Pepperell, Massachusetts for pallet storage at both 2˚C-8˚C and 15˚C-30˚C and the demand has continued.
