Matt Castrucci Mazda is educating driving enthusiasts in the Dayton area about the changes made to the Mazda3 for the upcoming 2020 model year. The 2020 Mazda3 is set to release later this fall. The 2020 Mazda3 will be offered in both sedan and hatchback styles.

The 2020 Mazda3 is available in four trim levels: Base, Select, Preferred and Premium. While most trims are available for both body styles, only sedan models have access to the Select trim. Every configuration of this model includes push button start, an electronic parking brake, dual USB ports, a seven-inch digital gauge display and a Mazda Connect infotainment system with an 8.8-inch center display.

Mazda’s i-ACTIVSENSE® driver assistance features and systems now come standard in the 2020 Mazda3’s base trim. These driver aids and advanced safety features include Smart Brake Support, Lane Departure Warning with Lane-Keep Assist, Mazda Radar Cruise Control with Stop and Go functionality and Driver Attention Alert. Rain-sensing windshield wipers and automatic on/off headlights also come standard in the 2020 Mazda3.

Plenty of optional features are available in this car’s higher trim levels. The Preferred trim’s notable additions include an audio system with 12 speakers, SiriusXM radio satellite radio support with a three-month trial, heated front seats and memory position door mirrors. The Premium trim adds front and rear LED lighting, leather upholstery, a moonroof and an adaptive front-lighting system.
