The Nissan Altima receives even more standard features for 2020.

Matt Castrucci Nissan is showcasing the changes and updates made to the 2020 Nissan Altima. This sedan expands upon the feature set of last year’s Altima, which was completely redesigned. This sedan seats up to five passengers and can be found in five trim levels: S, SR, SV, SL and Platinum.

The most significant change made to the Altima for 2020 is the addition of several driver assistance features to the SR trim. Rear parking sensors, a lane departure warning system and blind-spot monitoring all come standard in the 2020 Altima SR. These features are optional for the S trim. Another change made for 2020 is the introduction of a new interior trim, Piano Black, which is available for SV, SL and Platinum models.

The two engine options available for the 2020 Nissan Altima include a standard, 2.5-liter, four-cylinder engine and an optional, turbocharged, 2.0-liter, four-cylinder engine available for the SR and Platinum trims. The standard powertrain produces 188 horsepower and 180 pound-feet of torque, while the optional, turbocharged engine outputs 248 horsepower and 280 pound-feet of torque.

The 2020 Nissan Altima’s standard interior features include Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone connectivity, two USB inputs, Bluetooth connectivity and audio streaming with compatible devices, an infotainment system displayed through an eight-inch display, a rearview camera and push-button start. Standard driver aids include automatic emergency braking and a front collision warning system.
