Matt Matern, a successful entrepreneur, attorney, and philanthropist from Los Angeles, California announced his intention to seek the nomination of the Republican Party for President of the United States. Matt Matern will officially register at 11am with the New Hampshire Secretary of State at the Concord Capitol building.

According to Matern, “Donald Trump is leading the Republican Party off a cliff. Republicans used to believe in lower taxes, keeping deficits under control, and free trade. This President doesn’t follow any of those fiscal ideals. Not only has President Trump betrayed the fiscal principles that Republicans have believed for generations, he has disgraced the office that he swore to protect. Americans deserve an end to the daily drama and divisive politics that has engulfed this country since he was elected. The more I talk to voters, particularly Republican voters, I feel a growing disenchantment toward Donald Trump. I’m running to give those voters a voice.”
